Stars and Stripes on The Farm

Interior Designer Ginger Barber created heaven on earth when she decorated this 1850s guesthouse and main house in Round Top, Texas....

The guesthouse sits across the meadow from the main house. It is actually larger than the main house with a couple of bedrooms, kids loft, living room and bathroom.

LOVE the brown and white striped floors and moravian star lantern! Barber used porch stain to get "that on-and-off paint look - imperfect" for the striped floors.

guesthouse bath...how awesome is the zinc top console with white vessel sinks?!

guest house main hallway...once again LOVE the painted checkerboard pattern on the floors.

My all time favorite porch!! You may recognize the pic from my porch swingin' post.

The main house has a master bed & bath, combined kitchen and family room and wraparound porch. Barber boarded every wall in the main house with reclaimed wood and whitewashed the boards. Love the soft, subtle, rustic look!

This is my favorite room on the farm....the outdoor dining area. It is the farm's only real dining room. One word...PERFECTION!!

Reg and I have always said that if we win the lottery we are going to buy a farm in Madison, Georgia for the kids to run wild on. If that ever happens my farm is going to look just like this one :)!!
